Another (Boring) Day at the Office
I usually arrive here at around 8:30, way earlier than the other people in my department. They arrive at around 10 or something and now I'm stuck here trying to figure out what to do because I don't have any tasks. I'm just passing the time surfing through the web and browsing through some random stuff.

A Passion for Fairy Tail
I've been reading a lot of manga since I was in High School, and I've watched a fair share of anime. From Death Note to Naruto, I've been avidly following the anime world.
One particular manga/anime has gotten me into a state of addiction ever since I started reading/watching it last year. It's a combination of action, adventure, comedy, drama and all sorts of different genres that add spice to its already unique setting. This manga/anime of course is Fairy Tail.
For almost one year I've been reading the manga and watching the anime of this insanely addictive series created by the author of Rave, Hiro Mashima.
The story itself is quite catchy, as well as the many characters in the story. Each character has a back story all his own which is uniquely connected and spun together to make up one of my most favorite mangas/animes by far.
Well, enough babbling about how great a story it is. In order for you guys to experience how great it is, you should try reading the manga or watching the anime for yourselves.

Dinner at KRI
Last night I ate a Valentine's Dinner at one of the newest restaurants here in Dumaguete. The place was named KRI (for more details, visit My Purple Spoon). I was with my girlfriend of course, and we just wanted to try out this new place everyone was buzzing about.
We were there at around 8 pm, but there were still a lot of guests eating so we were made to wait for about 15 minutes before having a table. Once we were settled in our seats, the first thing I noticed was that a lot of people were rather enjoying eating there. I looked around and found that the place was not that big, not more than 20 tables I guess, but it was rather neat and the colors inside were bright and the lighting was quite cool (not too bright, not too dark either). I had been expecting that the food would taste great, because of rather fine ambiance that the restaurant was emanating.
We placed our orders for their Chicken of the Week special, expecting that the food would be served as quickly as possible, but like some of the other restaurants here in Dumaguete, it took quite a while for our food to be served. Upon tasting it, all I can say is that the wait was worth it. The food had so much flavors in it and it was quite a rush just tasting so many flavors after each mouthful. Though my girlfriend wasn't quite satisfied (she dislikes food with not so usual tastes), I'm sure she did quite enjoy herself, at least I'm hoping she did.
Here are some pictures of our escapade:
Too bad we weren't able to take pictures of the food. Sigh...

It's Been A While
It's been ages since I last posted on this blog, and I've been really missing blogging. Schoolwork and other stuff have been preventing me from being able to post, not to mention I've been having a hard time thinking of anything sensible to post.
Now that most of the schoolwork is done, I'm gonna try my best to update this blog every once in a while, so I can still practice my already diminished writing skills.
Kudos to me!

I just created an account at Pay Per Post, and as a requirement I have to include a randomly generated sentence as part of this blog entry. So here's the sentence:
One size fits all rabbit costume
I just hope they approve my blog. Here's to hoping.

Girlfriend 5.0 vs. Wife 1.0
I was browsing through funny Internet and programming puns when I stumbled across this really funny forum thread. I just felt like sharing it because I'm sure most tech-savvy peeps would be able to get it.

Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0
_______________________________________
Dear Tech Support Team:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0.
I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child-processes that
took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now
monitors all other system activities.
Applications such as BachelorNights 10.3, Cricket 5.0, BeerWithBuddies
7.5, and Outings 3.6 no longer runs, crashing the system whenever
selected. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting
to run my favorite applications.
I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 5.0, but the 'uninstall'
doesn't work on Wife 1.0.
Please help!
Thanks,
"A Troubled User"

REPLY:
Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem that people complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is
just a Utilities and Entertainment program.
Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run
EVERYTHING!!!
It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 5.0.
It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system
once installed.
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 5.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to
allow this. (Look in your Wife 1.0 Manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child
Support).
I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the environment.
I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate
software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:APOLOGIZE because
ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system
will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance.
Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean 2.5, Sweep
3.0, Cook 1.5 and DoLaundry 4.2. However, be very careful how you use
these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program
NagNag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of
Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Sarees 2.1 and
Jewellery 5.0
STATUTORY WARNING : DO NOT, under any circumstances, install
SecretaryWithShortSkirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0
and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.
Hope this helps.

Useless
Have you ever felt that some time in your lives? When it comes to the point that you ask yourself, "Why can't I be worth something to someone?". Well that's what I'm feeling as of the moment, useless, worthless, and a complete failure as a boyfriend.
My girlfriend and I have been together for almost 15 months now, and we've had our fair share of trials and hardships as a couple. Throughout those 15 months, we've developed a loving and wonderful relationship, but what I don't get is why she never reveals her thoughts, her feelings, her apprehensions on our relationship.
I'm not really an expert on relationships, but isn't it supposed to be founded upon love, trust, and open communication? That's where I feel I'm such a failure, because for almost 15 months, she still doesn't quite trust me enough to bare her thoughts and feelings. Every time I ask her what is wrong, she just says that it is nothing when in fact there is something. She has these ideas and thoughts about me that I know nothing about, and I can't help but feel utterly useless and pathetic, because all this time she still doesn't quite believe the things I say to her.
This post is going to come out on my Facebook wall within a few hours, and I don't know if she's gonna be able to read it. I do hope she does though, so that she'll realize how hurt I am and how pathetic I feel because she still doesn't quite have it in her to trust me completely.

Because GLOBELINES sucks!
That's why I'm stuck in an Internet cafe trying to do some research work and other stuff. I was supposed to be inside my room comfortably surfing and getting my job done when all of a sudden my ISP decided to be such a D*CK. This is really a hassle because I can't really get a lot of work done because of the limited time I have for logging in (Internet cafe rates are a killer, trust me).

New Layout
I decided to change the layout of my blog. It's still under modifications and I'm trying to come up with a much better theme. I hope I can have the time (not to mention the energy) to spend working on it. Well, best of luck to me.

And A Good Morning To You!
So we were informed that we can get the results of our project proposal this morning, and after that we proceed to making the project requirements, or go back to the planning table and come up with a new proposal. It's really striking up at my nerves, having to wait if we get to proceed and all. I wish they'd just tell us directly and get on with it rather than having to have to wait.

13 Months
A few hours ago marked the 13th month of our relationship with my girlfriend. It's been a great 13 months and I've really grown to love her more and more. What's just bothering is the fact that she never even texted as much as a single greeting, which is far from the usual because we normally always greet each other at the stroke of 12 midnight. I really don't understand what's going on or what she is feeling right now, and I can't ask her because she's at work and probably busy but what's bothering me is she was able to access her Facebook and post something there about being unhappy and disturbed about something, but I can't figure out what it is and I'm guessing she won't be able to tell me until maybe when she gets off work. I just can't take the fact that she has time for Facebook but didn't even have time to at least send a text message.
I know I'm probably just being paranoid here, but I just can't stand it when something is bothering her, I just want to protect her all the time and keep her happy and safe. I wish she would tell me what was going on, or what happened that disturbed her a lot. It's a little frustrating especially when I don't know if it has something to do with us or whatever.
LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE'S NOT GONNA BE ABLE TO SLEEP TODAY!

Back Again
It's been seven, yes SEVEN, months since I last posted anything here. To be really honest, I'm seriously contemplating on whether I should continue to blog or not. With so many upcoming deadlines and much hassle as I start my last year as a student, I'm not quite certain whether I can squeeze in some time to speak what's on my mind (not that anyone would care what I would have to say).

B-Day
Today is my 21st birthday, and just like any other birthday I had for the past 6 years, it hasn't been quite like your typical birthday. It's like just one of those ordinary days. My friends don't even notice it, I don't even have a single dime to celebrate, and I can't even treat my special someone to ice cream or something.
Despite this though, I am still very much thankful that God has given me another year shot life. Grateful for the year that has passed and for the blessing He has given me.

For My Alter-ego
It's already 2:30 AM and much to my dismay, I still can't quite force myself to sleep. It has been a really weird evening for me, and much of it came from eating at a very expensive restaurant with my friends. She was there of course, constantly reminding me of her strong presence as she sat beside me all throughout the course of the evening.
Maybe this is the reason why at 2:30 in the morning I'm staring at my laptop, thinking of words to fill the space inside the box of my blog's post creator.
Perhaps what's bothering me is that she will be going to her hometown for the semester break, or perhaps it's because we have cheer dance practice tomorrow that's why I'm bothered. I am not really sure though, but all I can say is the second one is least likely the reason.
Certain scenes play through my mind as I think of the inevitable, and though how much I try to just shrug them off, they keep repeating themselves, each time in more vivid detail.
I know I am not supposed to be like this, and I've been willing myself real hard not to because I know that things will never turn out quite the way I want it to be. It's a constant struggle, but I know that I can keep it up. I like the way we are now, I like what I'm doing for her and perhaps she appreciates them as well.
I'm really not making any sense here, my thoughts are all jumbled up inside my head that I can't seem to organize them to really express what I want, but just can't quite say. I guess it'd be better this way though, thoughts just jumping out of nowhere, freeing my mind of stress and relieving my senses of this heavy, sad feeling.
I'm already babbling out here, so I guess I'm gonna cut it sort this time.
I hope you can post something in response to this soon.
